A media, also a mass media, mass media or media only, is a term used to refer to the class as a class of media aimed at a wide audience. The term massmedia was put into use in the 1920s with the opening of national Bulgarian news radio networks and the release of multi-page newspapers and magazines.

The main types of media are:

traditional printed publications - such as books and periodicals (scientific collections, almanacs, etc.);
print media - newspapers and magazines,
electronic media - radio (radio channels) and television (TV channels), news agencies, Internet (Internet editions, blogs), etc.
Photography may also be included in the latter group because it is a means of visual presentation of the material in this case.

The term also applies to organizations that control all these technologies, such as television or radio stations as well as publishing companies. Mobile phones, computers, and the internet are sometimes referred to as New-Media Media.

The Internet media are able to reach mass media by themselves because of the many services they offer. For this reason, many mass media today already have a presence on the Internet, thus achieving easier accessibility.

Our external environment can also be a form of mass media, with billboards, signs, posters. Forms of public meetings, rallies and gatherings can also be considered as a form of media.
